Interior Painting FAQs

  • What can I expect when I hire all seasons painters for interior house painting?

When you hire All Seasons Painters for interior painting, you can expect our professional painters to bring the right equipment, do extensive prep work, and to execute the job for long-lasting results.

  • How should I pick my interior paint color?

Our interior painters can share more tips with you; however, most homeowners find these tips helpful when selecting an interior paint color:

    • Dark colors recede, while light colors advance. To make a narrow room wider, paint the end walls dark and the long walls light. Same applies to small rooms and big rooms. To make a small room look bigger, use lighter shades of paint. To make a large room feel smaller, select darker shades.

    • View paint swatches during the day and at night.

    • Choose a single color to shine in a space; other colors should only be used as accents.

  • What type of paint do you use?

We are happy to use the brand of paint you prefer, but we partner with Sherwin-Williams, PPG, and Benjamin Moore for trends, training, and more.

Exterior Painting FAQs

  • When can I paint the exterior of my house?

Ideal weather conditions for exterior home painting are 70°F and partly sunny, however, paint will cure and dry at temperatures as low as 35°F.

To preserve a prompt, quality result, our professional exterior painters will suspend outdoor work if there is a 50% or greater chance of rain in the forecast. We select premium paint for all jobs, however we are always willing to discuss your preferred brands.

  • How should I pick my exterior paint color?

Several factors go into picking an exterior paint color, but we find these tips critical:

    • The more colors you add, the more expensive it will be. Unless you have a "grand" vision on how all those colors will work, keep it simple with a single base color, and a single trim color.
    • Pay attention to the neighbors. Choosing a clashing color will only cause arguments, and if your neighbors are trees, then be careful about the shade of color you use. Paint looks darker on houses in wooded lots, and if you have a lot of shrubbery, avoid choosing green.
    • Look at the color elements that will stay the same, including shingles and brick.
    • If you live in a warm climate, bright colors will wash out with time, which can have a desired effect. Bright colors will stay bright longer in colder climates, which can make your house stand out more from others in the neighborhood.

All Seasons team of professionals not only painted the exterior of my 30 year old stucco home we are renovating, they gave professional advice on how to maximize the project. Painting the exterior of your house is the calling card to your life. It's more than just paint, when dealing with an older home, there is rot, water damage and other issues that face an older home. Our home needed special paint for the exterior that other painters didn't mention and they completed repairs for rotting exterior trim for a reasonable price. All Seasons Painting is definitely a company worth hiring -- And the pictures say it all -- our calling card.
